Axis EP focuses on exercise interventions for persons at high-risk of developing, or with existing chronic and complex medical conditions and injuries. Prescribing the right exercise to help you prevent/manage a range of conditions and illnesses including:

NDIS for those Self-Managed and Plan Managed Participants
Where disability impacts daily activities, Axis EP provides Exercise Physiology support to help NDIS participants meet their goals. Exercise Physiology supports can be funded through Improved Daily Living as well as Improved Health and Wellbeing.

General Health and Well-Being / Strength and Conditioning:
Regular physical activity is a vital part of a healthy lifestyle and has been proven to greatly increase quality of life. Axis EP can assist with optimising the benefits of your exercise and movement by providing one-on-one exercise physiology sessions or group training sessions for small groups or groups of up to 10 people.
Programs are tailored to your physical capabilities and desired outcomes, and generally focus on:
Improving your muscular strength, control & flexibility
Improving cardiorespiratory fitness
Improving your bone health
Physical activity education
Reducing your risk of high blood pressure / hypertension, coronary heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and some cancers

Axis EP wants to bring health, well-being, and success to your company. It aims to create a culture of wellness and help to achieve both individual targets as well as company objectives.

Exercise Physiology
To claim Medicare rebates, a valid referral from a GP must be received. This involves how many sessions can be claimed on your Chronic Management Disease Plan.
NDIS Exercise Physiology
Fees are charged as per NDIS price guide
Participants may self-refer or be referred by their guardian or support coordinator
Medicare and Private Health Rebates
Medicare Australia provides rebates for allied health services for patients with chronic disease, chronic musculoskeletal conditions and complex care needs on referral from their regular GP
Workcover QLD, DVA, NDIS, and other services
Axis EP also works with clients and patients under the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), Workcover Queensland, The NDIS and other General Insurance claims for rehabilitation including the Motor Accident Insurance Commission.
Private Health Funds
Private Health Fund rebates are also generally available for Accredited Exercise Physiology services. Check with your health fund provider to see if you are covered for exercise physiology services in your policy.
